Steven L. Berzner, Esq., P.A.

Steven L. Berzner has been actively practicing law in Florida for more than 23 years. He received his B.B.A. from Adelphi University and LL.B. from Brooklyn Law School.

Mr. Berzner's practice is limited to family law and family relations matters, including civil trial practice, mediation, and negotiation of issues involving divorce and dissolution of marriage, paternity, child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution of marital assets, modification and enforcement proceedings, name change, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, marital settlment agreements, domestic violence and similar issues for clients requiring representation for domestic relations matters.

Mr. Berzner is a certified family court mediator.

Mr. Berzner is a founding member of, and currently a member of the Board of Directors of Collaborative Family Lawyers of South Florida, where he also holds the office of Treasurer. This organization was formed to educate lawyer and affiliate professional members, as well as the general pulbic, about a new alternate dispute resolution method that does not involve litigation.

Mr. Berzner is a member of the Family Law section of the Broward County Bar Association, a member of the Family Law section of the Florida Bar, a member of the Legislation Committee since 2004, a member of the Altenative Dispute Resolution Committee, and a member of the Collaborative Law Committee. While serving as a member of the Legislation Committee, he served on the subcommittee for the new parental relocation statute and the subcommittee for the Uniform Prenuptial Agreement Act.

Previously, Mr. Berzner was a member of the Domestic Violence Committee, Support Issues Committee, and the Rules and Forms Committee.
